CANON EOS 60D vs. T3i/600D

We don’t like to just post about a new camera being in stock.

Instead, we place ourselves in the reader’s perspective and potential customer who may be considering to buy a Canon DSLR camera. So, keeping this in mind and the similar specifications and prices, we cannot avoid making some comments comparing the EOS 60D vs. EOS T3i/600D, especially since they currently have a very small difference in price.

These are some differences between them, besides the lens kit option, that you should consider if you plan to buy one of these cameras. Please check the comparison below:

ADDITIONAL COMMENTS

The new Canon T3i/600D is a great entry-level camera, with LOT of features not ever found on that level of DSLR cameras before. It’s smaller and lighter than the EOS 60D, making it more suitable to carry while traveling on vacation, casual shooting and many other situations that can be for serious purposes.

Digital Zoom 3 – 10x

There is also a VERY interesting new feature in the T3i/600D that no other camera have: Digital Zoom 3x – 10x (and everything in between), which is capable of recording video in Full HD. According to some users’ tests, zooming in up to 5x still stays pretty sharp, further than that it gets soft. It’s a feature available for video, not for stills.

We have been requesting this feature via Firmware Update since VERY long ago. Just check the List of Fixes & Improvements.

So take a good look before buying. Some research before buying is always good! It’s worth the time.
